Add a Hot Deal today

1. Simply login at https://www.takeabreak.com.au/manage/Listings.aspx

2. Click on Hot Deals under Property from the left menu. If you have more than one property select the property from the drop down at the top of the page.

3. Complete the following sections - as you type the 'Preview' of your Hot Deal will update live so you can see exactly how it will appear.


Hot deal title Put your title here - make it catchy
 The maximum character number of  the 'hot deal' title is 32 characters.
Hot deal short description Put a short description of your deal here - this will be displayed in the Hot Deal ad
 Deals may appear in our regular deals newsletter to visitors. Many internet users want to find special deals for their holidays. This can be a deciding factor when they book and it is in your interest to post up-to-date, detailed and specific deals, especially in the off-peak season. Deals are reviewed by Take A Break Away Pty Ltd and removed if they do not meet the above criteria, for example if they simply contain a reference to a type of special, or contact information.
Please note, the maximum length of 'hot deal' short description is 90 characters, and maximum 256 characters for the long description.
Examples of suitable deals used by other properties are:
10% off cabin accommodation for the month of June.
OR
A bottle of champagne on arrival for bookings of 2 nights or more.

You can save and exit this page as often as you like, but don't forget to click Save at the bottom of the page. Once you are happy with your advertisement, complete the following fields:

If your deal only applies to last minute bookings, select 'last minute only'. Last minute bookings are 14 or less days in advance.

If your deal only applies to stays within a date range please enter the dates. Enquiries requesting dates outside this range need not be offered this deal.
Advertising dates

You must supply an "expiry" date for your deals in dd/mm/yy format. When this date approaches you will be emailed to update your deals - so you can use this as a reminder for seasonal deals, short notice deals etc.

You can save this deal as often as you like before submitting it to TakeABreak. Just click 'Save' at the bottom of the page.

Once you have completed this information and are ready to submit it to TakeABreak for approval make sure you have selected 'Yes' for 'Request as a hot deal' and click on 'Request Hot Deal and save' at the bottom of the page. Your Hot Deal will be submitted to TakeABreak for approval (generally within 24 hours during business hours). 

Once your Hot Deal has been approved we'll send you an invoice and once paid your Hot Deal will go live within 6 hours. 

Please note: Where there are more than 3 Hot Deal ads to display on a page they will go on rotation.

Pricing

Our special introductory price is $49 per month (this is calculated on a pro-rata basis based on the advertising dates you request).

When your Hot Deal expires you'll be sent an email letting you know and inviting you to submit a new Hot Deal.

Q. What is a Hot Deal?
A.This is a new advertising opportunity for you to promote you deals to guests. Hot Deals are displayed by date, you can select how long you want your deal to run for and will receive a reminder once it has expired. Hot Deals will be displayed prominently at the top of the listings.
Our special introductory price is $49 per month (pro-rata).

Q. Are you now charging for me to list specials on my listing?
A. No, Hot Deals are separate from the deals you can advertise on your listing currently. You can still add these at no cost.

Q. If I change my mind after paying or 'sell out' the deal I am offering can I get a refund?
A. No, unfortunately all Hot Deals must be paid up front for the advertising period you choose and are not refundable.

Q. How much does it cost to advertise a Hot Deal?
A. Our special introductory price is $49 per month (this is calculated on a pro-rata basis based on the advertising dates you request).

Q. I can't see my hot deal anywhere?
A. You need to request your Hot Deal to be approved first. Once approved you will be sent an invoice and payment link. After payment is received your Hot Deal will be put live within 6 hours. Where they are more than 2 Hot Deals for a State, Region or Locality they will be put on rotation.
